For some people all the OCR competitions look the same but for us, we see it differently. Each discipline has its own unique obstacles and equipment and its own athletes. We design our obstacles to suit each one of them. Endurance Obstacle Racing. Races like Spartan, Tuff Mudder, Tough Viking, which are generally longer races from 5 to 20kms in length with various obstacles along the way. Testing upper body, lower body, balance and endurance World Obstacle / UIPM. These are shorter timed racing between 2 or more racers. With a blend of upper body, core strength, balance and speed. Its high adrenalin racing, some races last just over 20 seconds long but extremely exciting of the racers and great for the spectators. Ninja Racing. Another timed race made famous from the “Ninja Warrior” TV show, that is generally a single racer taking on unique combination of the different obstacle to test the body in different ways. This discipline is designed for a different kind of athlete. Callisthenics’ A new kid on the block. This is a sport that uses a person’s own body weight as resistance in freestyle, power and endurance. Often using planks, bars and frames for Push-ups, Pull-ups, Burpees, Squats, Lunges, Planking etc Hybrid Racing. “Combines” & “Fitness racing” is typically a multi lapped race around stadiums or sports fields using adjusted gyms exercise workouts but on a larger scale. Parkour. An new Urban Action sport that attracts another breed of athlete. Traversing in, on, over and through man-made object the use of running, vaulting, jumping, climbing, rolling, and other movements in order to travel from one point to another in the quickest and most efficient way possible.
